Take 60 g of basmati rice per person and soak for minimum 30 mins for the best result. Take water equal to 1,5 – 2 times the rice quantity and add the soaked rice to it. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook on medium heat for 10 – 12 mins. Drain well, cover and let stand for 3 – 5 mins. Slightly fork through the cooked rice and the finest basmati rice is now ready to serve.
